Category 6 cable, commonly referred to as Cat 6, is a standardized twisted pair cable for Ethernet and other network physical layers that is backward compatible with the Category 5/5e and Category 3 cable standards.
The photos below are a current, in progress, project to install 36,000 +/- feet of CAT6 cabling. The project includes building a new server room to house the data center and connecting a multitude of desktop computer stations. We are also upgrading the lighting infrastructure in work areas and a retrofit on the warehouse lighting system.
